OnCall Pros is a small, independent dispatch marketplace serving Edmonton and the surrounding region. Our job is simple: when an Edmonton homeowner has a plumbing emergency, the closest verified local plumber should be the one who shows up — fast, with no call centre in the middle, and without losing a chunk of the invoice to a national lead-gen company.
Hi, I'm Travis Sarvas — the founder.
I'm a graphic designer by trade. For years I ran a small retail store and an e-commerce shop on the side, and I learned the same lesson every small-business owner eventually learns the hard way: it is incredibly difficult to work on your business while you're flat-out working in it. The phone rings during a job, the website needs updating, the books need doing, and meanwhile the customer at the counter is waiting.
That experience — and a lot of conversations with the trades people I hired for my own house — is what led to OnCall Pros. Edmonton's emergency plumbing market is dominated by a handful of large operators that can afford full-time call centres and heavy ad spend. The independent plumbers I talked to do excellent work, charge fair prices, and lose jobs every single week purely because they couldn't pick up the phone in time.
OnCall Pros is built for those operators. It pre-screens customer calls, confirms the address, and forwards ready-to-dispatch jobs to one phone number — no portal to log into, no app to install. The plumber bills the customer directly. We don't take a cut of the invoice. We charge a flat fee per job we dispatch, and that's it.

No call centre
The intake is on the website or a single dispatch line. Nobody is reading a script in another timezone — and nobody is taking a slice of every job to pay for that call centre.
Direct billing
The plumber quotes the work and is paid directly by the customer at their normal rates. We never insert ourselves into the invoice.
Verified locals
Every plumber on the platform has had their trade certificate, business license, and proof of insurance checked by a real human before a single job is sent to them.
"Verified" means OnCall Pros reviewed those business and trade documents. It does not mean OnCall Pros performed criminal background screening or guarantees identity, conduct, safety, suitability, or workmanship. See our Terms.
